The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport has a requirement to design, manufacture, test and install one (1) each breechlock type hatch extension section that will mate to the existing 33 inch diameter hatch interface of ASME Division II acoustic test tank. Drawings from a feasibility study on a breechlock hatch design will be provided for use. A Firm Fixed Price contract is anticipated. Design, fabrication and testing of the deliverable equipment shall be completed one hundred twenty (120) days after contract award. Delivery is FOB Destination to the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, Newport, RI. Installation and post-installation tests will be conducted by the contractor at NUWC and shall be completed one hundred eighty (180) days after contract award. Award will be made on the basis of Best Value to the Government. Technical acceptability will be determined iaw the following evaluation factors: Technical Approach and Past Performance. This acquisition will be a 100% small business set-aside. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
