The City of Buffalo is seeking proposals for administration of a Community Housing Center, created pursuant to consent decrees in a housing discrimination action, to provide mobility counseling to certain minority households in Erie County, New York, as provided in the consent decrees in Comer v. Cuomo, Civ.-89-1556C, USDC, WDNY; to conduct outreach to private owners of rental housing; to serve as a clearinghouse for affordable rental housing listings; and to encourage the owners of HUD-assisted housing throughout Erie County to participate in an effort to expand housing opportunities for low income households. Representatives of the City, HUD and plaintiffs will be available on Monday, February 2, 1998, at 10 am, at HUD office, 465 Main Street, 5th floor, Buffalo, New York, to review the contents of the Request for Proposals and to answer questions regarding proposals.
