Contract Negotiator, 301-415-6594 The contractor shall provide training
course instructors and materials to present four (4) different types of
training courses for the Incident Investigation Program. These courses
are: (1) the Incident Investigation Team Training Course, (2) Incident
Investigation Team Refresher Training Course, (3) the Root
Cause/Incident Investigation Workshop, and (4) the Human Performance
Investigation Process Training Course. This training will provide NRC
staff members with state-of-the-art training in accident investigation.
These courses will be held at various NRC training facilities in the
U.S. It is anticipated that this will be a requirements contract. It is
estimated that the Incident Investigation Training or Refresher Courses
will be presented once every other year, the Root Cause/Incident
Investigation Workshop approximately 4 times each year, and the Human
Performance Investigation Process Course approximately twice each year.
The size standard for this solicitation is average annual receipts of
$5.0 million over the past three fiscal years, as set forth under
Standard Industrial Classification 8999. The period of performance is
five (5) years. Proposals for this requirement may be submitted by all
concerns, i.e., large businesses, small businesses, and small
businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically
disadvantaged individuals. Interested firms should submit written
requests including two (2) mailing labels to the NRC at the address
shown above. Telephone requests will not be honored. Closing date is 30
