Responsibilities entail management and maintenance of the single family properties, marketing them and oversight of the sales and closing activities. The geographic area of coverage would most likely include Florida, Kentucky and Georgia, but could potentially include Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Indiana. The Real Estate Owned programs in these states all fall within the jurisdiction of the Atlanta Homeownership Center. Duties would include those currently performed by in-house HUD staff as well as contractors who serve as HUD's property managers (REAMs). (0015)
