C -- The NAVFAC Contracts Office, NCBC, Port Hueneme, CA will issue an unrestricted competitive solicitation for purposes of negotiating and awarding a firm fixed price contract not to exceed $1,800,000.00 to design and construct a 4,500-6,500 square foot golf clubhouse. Along with the primary facilities, the project will include the following supporting facilities: sewer service, water supply distribution, storm drainage, electrical service distribution, gas service, cable television, telephone, landscaping, concrete sidewalks, service access drive, repaving of the existing parking lot, and re-striping of the parking lot. The project also includes a covered patio/outdoor dining area (minimum of 815 square feet) along the golf course side of the new clubhouse as well as a new 6,000 square foot covered golf equipment storage canopy to be constructed along the driving range side of the golf course cart storage building. Source selection will be on a best value basis. Both a written proposal addressing past performance, management approach, subcontracting approach, and price is required along with an oral presentation of the offerors design approach. The oral presentation will be made at the Seabee Logistics Center, Port Hueneme, CA. The SIC Code for this procurement is 8712, size standard is $2.5 million. The final rule under FASA for Part 15 applies to this solicitation. Solicitation packages will be available for direct mailing on or about February 20, 1998 and will be issued one per company on a first come first serve basis until all supplies are exhausted.
