Request for Quotation 1443RQ712098001 -- Work under this contract consists of general construction of removal and replacement of existing cedar shingle roof and cupolas, on the barracks/museum historical biulding no. H.B. 21 at Fort Davis National Historical Site, Fort Davis, Texas. Includes all appurtenances, such as ridge, hip boards, metal flashing, and repointing of mortar at chimney flashings. Remove existing facia board for new flashing installation and reinstall in place, and touch-up paint finish where scuffed or marked (match in kind) as necessary on all roof trim, continious. Reinstallation of existing lightning protection system over new shingle installation. All phases of work combined will be a finished complete project per specifications and drawings. There is approximately 10,000 square feet of roof area. Architect's drawings indicate extent of work, installation of roof system with manufacturer's approved products for this type of work. It is highly recommended that contractor's visit the site to confirm existing conditions, quantities, and dimensions prior to bidding. (0014)
