Presolicitation Notice: The work includes construction of an approximate 101,000 gross square foot, two and one story structure on spread footings; with steel frame, masonry exterior, and both shingled-gabled and membrane roofs. The CHCC includes both Outpatient Medical and Dental Clinics. The Outpatient Medical Clinic consists of a Command suite, Training/Education (classrooms, exam room, quality control and library), Resource Management (comptroller, accounting and copy/file areas), Manpower Management, Information Management (computer rooms and administration), Patient Administration, Logistics and Facility Management (supplies and plant maintenance), Clinic Administration and Outpatient Records, Family Practice, Urgent Care, Military Medicine and Physical Exams, Pediatrics, Opthamology/Optometry, Preventive Medicine/Occupational Health, Psychiatry/Social Work, Physical and Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy (to include pharmacy drive-through dispensing), Radiology, Pathology, and other support spaces. The Outpatient Dental Clinic consists of Dental Treatment Rooms, Center Sterile Room (CSR), Decontamination (DECON), and other support spaces. The work includes exterior and interior finishes; medical equipment, elevators; dock leveler; heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and controls; medical and dental gases; dental air and vacuum, plumbing; fire suppression; power; lighting; fire alarm; communication; all utilities and storm drainage; roads; parking and sitework; landscaping and incidental related work. This procurement will be conducted through a competitive negotiation process. Award will be based on price and other non-priced factors as stated in the RFP including, but not limited to relevant experience of similar type construction, past performance and project management team. The tentative date for release of plans and specifications is mid-February with proposals due approximately 30 days after release. A preproposal conference and site visit will be held at the Marine Corps Base, Quantico. Date and time to be announced.
