The US Army Corps of Engineers, New York District, intends to award a sole source contract to Versicon, Inc., Two Corporate Drive, Suite 300, Shelton, CT for Consulting Services and Purchase of additional software licenses for Productivity Pack software. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation -- quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated clauses and provisions are those in effect through FAC 97-02. The Government intends to solicitate and negotiate on an other than full and open competition basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 with Versicon, Inc. since this firm has sole ownership of of the Productivity Pack software code and the Government must purchase licenses and programming support from Versicon. The US Army Corps of Engineers, New York District requires all programming to be completed within ten (10) weeks after award of contract. It shall include enhancement of existing Productivity Pack templates to include changes in indenting, spacing, letterhead addresses, graphics, save function and the conversion of graphics to Windows Metafiles. All current Productivity Pack templates developed under previous contract and all new templates and enhancements shall be delivered in Word for Windows 7.0 and 8.0 formats. An electronic help file and user documentation shall be developed. Maintenance and support services in the form of an additional 120 hours of software programming shall be provided.
