This procurement is set aside for small business concersn. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items and is issued as a Request for Quotation under N62755-98-Q-B006. Separate written solicitation will not be issued. The Standard Industrial Classification code is 1731. This requirement is for a fixed price contract for Nine (9) each Mast, lightning conductor, round tapered form fabricated from coated galvanized steel, shall be provided in sections complete with setting base for embedment in ground. Mast sections shall be tapered and sleeved to form a tight connection to be welded in the field to provide continuity and water tightness. Lower section shall be fitted with factory installed ground lugs or connections for attachment of ground girdles, lugs or cables. Length of lightning mast from ground to top of mast to be sixty (60) feet exclusive of mounting base. Vendor to provide mounting base sufficient to support mast in winds to 80mph. Vendor to provide factory drawing showing alldimensions of mast with bid proposal. Delivery to be to the Naval Air Station Barbers Point, Public Works Center Detachment, Material Storage Facility.
