E-MAIL: Harold G. Taulbee, harold.taulbee@ssc.nasa.gov. NASA/SSC intends to issue a Request for Offer (RFO) to Rehabilitate the Maintenance Shop in the SSME Test Area at the Stennis Space Center. The work to be performed under this project consists of providing all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the Rehabilitation of the Maintenance shop. The work consists of the demolition and removal of an existing 40'x110' metal building down to the existing concrete foundation. The construction of a new 44'x110' pre-engineered metal building with electric service, interior facilities and concrete foundation and removal of existing overhead power distribution facilities. The construction shall be in compliance with all state, local, federal and NASA regulations. The Government will apply for and obtain all required permits. The solicitation will be released via the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS). Hardcopies of the Specification and Drawings will be available upon request. The solicitation will be released as soon as practicable whether prior or subsequent to January 23, 1998.
