Pendley, Code 891-1, (912)439-6761. The Marine Corps will rebuild 680
AAV's starting October 1, 1998, and completion by September 30, 2002.
Each vehicle consists of approximately 7,000 to 11,000 itmes with two
production facilities performing the RAM/RS (one maintenance center is
located in Albany, GA and the other maintenance center is located in
Barstow, CA). Alternatives being considered for material management
support of the program include a single source to provide complete
material management with on-site inventories at both maintenance
locations. Interested sources should send a complete company profile
and state any current on-going efforts or a statement of experience
which would demonstrate your organizations qualifications to the point
of contact. This request is for information only and shall be provided
at no cost to the Government. While all information provided may be
utilized for preparation of a planned Request for Proposal and for the
purpose of identifying potential offerors, there will be no contract
