Deuel, Purchasing Agent at (912) 267-2239 The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center will issue a RFQ on/about 1/23/98 for an automated Continuous Validation Program (CVP) to be used to analyze various training programs. System must include data collection from course graduates and their home organizations, creation of a relational data base, automated data input capability (into their data base), and ability to retrieve data in a wide variety of forms and formats. System must allow custom report and presentation creation by multiple users at multiple sites (possible Internet connectivity). The entire system must be compatible with FLETC current and planned ADP environment to include Windows NT and/or Novell servers. The system must also interface with other relational data base elements such as student information stored on a UNIX platform. The primary sources of this data will be student and organizational input and retrieval of information from other data bases. It is intended that all methods of collecting, extracting, and retrieving data be automated with no manual data entry required, except for students and organizations completing questionnaires. These questionnaires will initially be scannable by NCS forms distributed and collected by US Post, but ability to allow collection through the Internet or from diskette should be planned or included.
