The National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kindey Diseases (NIDDK) has a requirement to purchase Avanti J-20 Centrifuge, 60Hz, 200/208/240V and accessiores on a sole source basis. The instrument will be used to switched reluctance drive and friction reduction system significantly improve enviromental comfort by producing less than half the heat output of other centrifuges. In addition, the extremely low noise level while running allows placement of the centrifuge within the normal work enviorment. NIDDK require specifications that will be released in the RFQ package in full detail. All responsible 8(a) and small business sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be within the Simplified Acquistion Thereshold for Commerical Purchases up to $5 million.
