C -- OPEN-ENDED A/E CONTRACT SOL 650-A/E DUE 012398 POC Patrick J. Cantwell, (401) 457-3033 and James M. Gunn, (401) 457-2154 Provide A/E services for architectural, mechanical and electrical services, under a multi-discipline open-ended contract. Individual contracts may be awarded for each discipline. It is preferred to award one contract to a firm who has the ability to service the entire VA New England Health Care System, however, the contract may be divided along geographic lines depending upon our determination of each firm's capabilities. The geographic divisions are: Area 1- Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont; Area 2- Massachusetts; Area 3- Connecticut and Rhode Island. The projects will range from small in-house to projects of $3 million in construction costs. The scope of work may include preparation of designs, plans, specifications, cost estimates, construction period services and miscellaneous reports. Contract period is for one year, with options to renew for four additional years. Total A/E contract cannot exceed $2,000,000 and each task work order cannot exceed $450,000 and will be in the scope of the contract.
