70 -- PURCHASE OF SOFTWARE AND SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE SOL DCA20098M0551 DUE 011298 POC Alyce Niklich, 618-229-9590 The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Computer Technology Division, Procurement Branch (DTS42) intends to issue a sole source contract to Compuware Corporation, 31440 Northwestern Highway, Farmington Hills, MI 48334-2564 for the acquisition of software maintenance for the following proprietary products: 4 CPU Licenses for FileAid/Batch, FileAid/MVS, FileAid/SPF, Data-Expert and CICS Abend/Aid/FX. This software product is currently installed on equipment located at the DMC-Columbus, OH. Period of performance for the maintenance is 1 Jan 98 through 30 Sep 98. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will satisfy Agency Requirements. Companies who can provide the above listed software maintenance must indicate their interest within 5 days of this announcement. Any party interested in receiving a copy of the solicitation shall provide written notice to the Contracting Office. Datafax requests to 618-229-9592 are acceptable. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice, since this synopsis can not be considered a Request for Quotations/Proposals.
