Shannon Wagner, swagner@pica.army.mil. The U.S. Army TACOM/ARDEC is
seeking qualified small business firms who can respond to a request for
proposal to manufacture and deliver approximately 9,877 each M795 HE
Projectile Metal Pallets. An option for approximately 9,877 M795 HE
Projectile Metal Pallets will also be part of the upcoming requirement.
Each Metal Pallet consists of two (2) metal plates held together by
connecting rods. Each pallet is designed to hold eight (8) M795 155MM
artillery shells. Each group of eight (8) artillery shells sits atop
one of the metal plates and is capped off by the other metal plate. The
pallets are to be made from steel sheet -- high strand/low alloy per
ASTM 715 Grade 50 and is top coated with a CARC paint. The Government
does not intend to facilitize prospective offerors. Any offeror will be
required to self facilitize at their own expense. Interested
manufacturers are requested to submit a capabilities statement by
Electronic Commerce (EC) to swagner@pica.army.mil which should address,
at a minimum, the items delineated under the numbered note indicated
below. No solicitation will be issued as a result of this market
