Adept Systems Inc. has technical expertise in the development, integration and implementation of LONWORKS control networks for marine and naval applications and in particular for marine chilled water systems. The tasks to be provided under this contract are in support of a chilled water automation laboratory and test facility being constructed at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia, PA. The contractor shall provide the following service: support the control logic development by providing concepts and recommendations on LONWORKS system design and implementation considerations, identify the LONWORKS hardware and software requirements for the chilled water automation laboratory, design and develop the control network architecture including, network topology, network traffic partitioning and network management tools and develop the LONWORKS interfaces (electonics and software) between fluid system and the control network.
