R -- FEDLINK INFORMATION RETRIEVAL SOL DMHW/UM DUE 012198 POC Tony Lembo, Contract Administrator The Library of Congress intends to issue delivery orders against an existing Basic Ordering Agreement to begin subscriptions with University Microfilms International (UMI) for the continued use of their services by the National Imagery and Mapping Agency, Bethesda, MD (DMHV). UMI provides a wide variety of published and unpublished documents including dissertations and thesis products, serials and newspapers, and phonefiche, as well as their ProQuest databases which provide access to literally thousands of information sources from business and management to doctoral dissertations, general-interest periodicals, scientific material, and newspapers. Products offered include: ABI/INFORM ondisc, Dissertation Abstracts ondisc, INSPEC ondisc, Newspaper Abstracts ondisc, Periodical Abstracts ondisc, PRODIRECT, ProQuest Full-Text Newspapers ondisc, ProQuest Full-Image Periodicals ondisc, Resource/One, and Business Dateline. UMI also offers Document Delivery Services which provides a wide variety of published and unpublished documents including dissertations and thesis products, serials and newspapers, speeches, and government reports. Service will be continued through September 30, 1998. WRITTEN RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE PRICES AND TECHNICAL DATA SUFFICIENT TO DETERMINE CAPABILITY. No telephone calls will be accepted.
