The USDA Forest Service intends to use Brooks Act short selection procedures, per FAR 36.602-5, for the following: professional structural engineer services to assist in drafting, structural design, design review, and construction assistance. Multiple, one-year (Fiscal Year 1998), task-order type contracts are anticipated. Task orders will be placed as needed; method of ordering and payment may be either lump sum or on an hourly basis; work may be required to be performed off site at the Contractor's facility or on site with Government-furnished space and equipment.
