Buky, Contracting Officer, 702-652-2531 Work consists of providing all labor, supplies, material, supervision, transportation, equipment, and all else necessary to repair the bathrooms and other items in Dormitory Buildings 334 (Base Bid), 336 (Additive 1), and 725 (Additive 2) at Nellis AFB, Nevada. Work will include but is not limited to the demolition and subsequent installation of new plumbing and electrical fixtures, shower enclosures, tile flooring, sewer and waste lines, HVAC System, and cabinetry. The estimated dollar value of this project is between $500,000 and $1 Million for each building with a performance period of 120 calendar days for each building. The applicable SIC for this acquisition is 1542 with a three year average annual small business size standard of $17 Million. The proposed contract listed here is unrestricted and open to all firms, including small and small disadvantaged concerns. Preference may be given to Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) firms. The specifications and bid package (drawings sent by separate mailing) are available on disk at no charge. If the fully reproduced package is desired, you must provide a nonrefundable check in the amount of $21.00 for each bid package requested to cover reproduction costs. Cash will not be accepted. Payment by cashier's check, money order, or company check will be accepted and must be made payable to "DFAS-SAN BERNARDINO 672300". If express mailing of the bid package is desired, you must identify your express carrier and provide your account number with your request. Availability of the solicitation is limited and will be issued on a first come, first served basis to the extent available. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued o/a 15 January 1998.
