U -- EDUCATION SERVICES SOL RFQ 275-0008 DUE 020498 POC Larry Burgess, Contract Specialist, 913-551-1049 or Fax 913-551-1074 The Federal Bureau of Prisons has a requirement for a contractor to provide Advanced Occupational Educational Training Program Services which will lead to one-year certificates to qualified inmates at the Federal Prison Camp, Marion Illinois. The services will include, but not limited to; an on-site program coordinator; transcription services; record keeping; appropriate academic counseling and on-site support staff. It is estimated the total enrollment will be the equivalent of 12 to 20 full-time students. Classes to be provided on-site at the Federal Prison Camp located in Marion Illinois. This requirement for these services are needed through September 30, 1998 with four additional option years. The government retains the right to exercise its option at the beginning of each fiscal year. This procurement action requires the contractor's employee to pass certain background checks and security-related training prior to working on- site. The solicitation documents will be issued on or about January 12,1998.
