Roberts (509) 247-4864 The work includes, but is not limited to, recoating interior surfaces of an elevated water tank and replacement of access plug and reference cell leads for the tank's cathodic protection system. The performance period for this project is 75 calendar days, 30 calendar days to prepare and submit material submittals for approval and to order and stockpile materials. 45 calendar days will be allowed to occupy the work site and to physically accomplish the work. A Separate Notice to Proceed (NTP) will be issued for each phase, with liquidated damages applying to each phase. Actual construction is to take place during the spring months (Feb-Apr) or the fall months (Sep-Nov). During these periods the need for irrigation will be at a minimum and fire danger is reduced. Working hours are weekdays, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, excluding federal holidays. The SIC Code is 1542. Estimated construction range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00, and shall be bid lump sum. There are no Government furnished materials for this project. The work is not located in a restricted or a controlled area. Acquisition will be through competitive negotiation procedures with qualified offerors. The areas of evaluation and their relative rank order, is stated in Section M of the solicitation. The government will award a contract resulting from the solicitation that will provide the best value to the government considering price and past performance.
