Project consists of providing all labor, equipment, materials, and essentials necessary for performing erosion control work at which has occurred at the Grand Bayou, Peconi Bayou, Lambert Bayou, No Name Bayou, and Mangrove Bayou water control structures located within the coastal marshes of Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. Major items of work are placement of approximately 4,487 square yards of geotextile, 9,840 square yards of geogrid, and 10,790 tons of rock riprap. The performance time will be 65 calendar days. Invitations for Bids (IFB) will be available approximately 25 days from the date of this notice. The estimated cost of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The IFB packages will be available free of charge; however, all requests must be in received in writing at the above address or fax number, no phone requests will be accepted.
