The ASP is responsible for all areas of ammunition support for Fort Riley non- divisional units, tenants and Reserve Component units logistically supported by Fort Riley. Ammunition and explosives include conventional munitions, missiles, components and residue. ASP responsibilities include the storage and security of ammunition and explosives and ammunition issues, receipts and accountability inspections. The ASP supports mobilization. The Directorate of Contracting anticipates issuing a request for Sealed Bids (IFB) on or about 12 Jan 98 with bid opening on or about 13 Feb 98. The solicitation will include a phase-in period. Proposed contact is a firm fixed price requirements type contract, with contract period to include base year with four one-year options.
