Gallagher (215) 697-9601 The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Philadelphia intends to issue a solicitation for a firm fixed price contract for General Support Services for the Naval Inventory Control Point, Mechanicsburg, PA, and Philadelphia, PA. This solicitation is issued in accordance with FAR 6.203 as a 100% small business set-aside. A twelve-month base period and four twelve-month option periods are contemplated. This requirement will be solicited using commercial items practices in accordance with FAR Part 12. This solicitation is part of a Government cost comparison to determine whether accomplishing the specified work under contract or by Government performance is more economical. If Government performance is determined to be more economical, this solicitation will be cancelled and no contract will be awarded. Offerors shall be required to submit cost and technical proposals.
