This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number Request for Proposal RFQ 531-23-93 is assigned and shall be referenced on any proposal. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-01. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 5820. Request for Quotes (RFQ) are being requested. The Veterans Administration Medical Center, 500 West Fort, Boise, Idaho 83702 is seeking to replace their paging system with a digital paging system the must have the following: 1) It has to be compatible with Hewlett Packard model M1273A,Alert Dispatch -- a product which provides real-time alarm information from SDN-connected HP monitoring systems to third part devices and systems. Information is provided through RS232/422 output; 2) Must be compatible with all motorola tone, voice and digital pagers (keynote, spirits); 3) Must be compatible with Motorola radio transmitter (paging system) model C73JZB1106A; 4) Must be compatible and able to interface with Erisson model MD110 Cosono PBX; 5) Must be capable of operating on both wide and narrow band frequencies; 6) In addition, bidder is responsible for installation and required interfaces with the above equipment. Must provide warranty equal to Motorola. Must be FOB destination. Proposals shall be submitted on an "all or none basis." Partial proposals shall be rejected. If submitting on a brand name equal basis, sufficient technical data must be included for the government's evaluation.
