Center (NASC) for VISN 19 is requesting interested firms located in
Utah, Colorado, Montana and Wyoming to submit Qualification Statements
(SF 254 & 255)for the following Architect and Engineering Service.
Conduct a low pressure steam feasibility study by evaluating all eight
VA Medical Centers to determine the feasibility of converting to low
pressure steam or hot water. The study will evaluate each Medical
Center for conversion to include a total economic analysis identifying
conversion costs, controls, modification of existing systems using
high pressure steam, energy efficiency, reliability, maintenance and
operation costs. The review will also analyze the condition of existing
boiler plants and consider the economics of alternate fuels. Interested
firms may submit their SF 254 & SF 255 to the Contracting Officer by
close of business,local time, on January 23, 1998. Should you have any
