99 -- OXYGEN CLEANING SERVICES POC Laura Bankey, Subcontract Administrator, 281/228-7658, Fax: 281/228-7767 or 281/461-9907 Johnson Engineering Corporation (JE) is a prime contractor (NAS9-18800) to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) at Johnson Space Center (JSC), Houston, TX. JE is seeking prospective suppliers that possess the proven capabilities to provide oxygen cleaning of valve assemblies, tubing, fittings, etc. The supplier must be able to demonstrate expertise in oxygen cleaning of any miscellaneous equipment related to Oxygen Breathing Systems. Current and future requirements are oxygen cleaning per MIL-STD-1330D or JHB5322.1, Level 300A. The supplier shall verify that the cleaning and verification fluids used are compatible with the hardware cleaned. The supplier shall also provide documentation verifying the cleanliness level of each component or lot of components cleaned. (All items will be double bagged and tagged in accordance with JHB5322.1, or MIL-STD-1330D.) Interested companies are requested to submit a Statement of Capabilities (SOC), which completely demonstrates the capability to perform the oxygen cleaning required including facilities description, equipment list, and a published price list or fully burdened rates within 30 calendar days of the publication date of this notice. Include your business states (e.g., Small Disadvantaged or Woman-owned Business, Small or Large). All firms submitting the required documentation will be considered and any subsequent solicitation will be issued to the sources that JE has determined to have the best potential to successfully perform the specified work.
