Alter B2M1 at Building 250 -- This project includes all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and performance necessary for the alteration of B2M1 at Building 250. Work includes but is not limited to the conversion of an existing basement storage area to a meeting room with some finish upgrades, a new breakroom and new toilets which can be used for urinalysis testing. Demolition of the temporary breakroom, replacement of the fire protection system in order to position a new pipe and sprinkler heads up higher, new finishes throughout, and new lighting. Relocation of an existing sink and counter. Installation of acoustical panels to control sound reverberation. Magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. Anticipated issuance date for this Past Performance Price Tradeoff Solicitation is 10 Jan 98. The tenative bid opening date is 11 Feb 98. Performance period will be 250 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Standard Classification Code (SIC) is 1542. This solicitation is being issued on an unrestricted basis.
