This procurement is unrestricted. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-98-Q-0059 is issued as a Request for Quotation. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-01 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-12. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this procurement is 3679. The size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is for the repair of 22 each Dynamic Instruments Recorder/Reproducer, Part Number 20-00045, NSN 5835-01-218-5559ZW. The Government will negotiate with one company only, Dynamic Instruments Inc. Dynamic Instruments is the original equipment manufacturer. The information contained on the drawings/specifications is proprietary to Dynamic Industries. This will be negotiated at a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The shipping terms will be F.O.B. destination, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane IN, with inspection/acceptance at Dynamic Instruments by a representative of DCMC. The required delivery date is 120 days after receipt of Government Furnished Material (GFM) and/or staggered delivery of the units 2 -- 3 per month beginning 120 days after receipt of GFM.
