(LBII) as the technical and management contractor for the USAID-assisted Growth with Equity in Mindanao (GEM) under AID Contract 492-0456-C-00-5135-00 is requesting bids from U.S. suppliers for the supply and delivery of five (5) units of 1998 model Ford "Explorer" 4x4 Utility Vehicles F.O.B. Davao City, Philippines. Required units are 4- liter cylinder engine basic models, beige color, with air conditioning, A.M. radio, glass tinting (light to medium), manual transmission with standard spares and tools. Payment will be made via wire transfer care of the LBII office in East Orange, New Jersey. Interested suppliers are requested to submit information relative to their price quotes, product description and desired payment terms. Contract award is expected o/a late January through mid-February. Prospective suppliers are advised that funds for this procurement have yet to be obligated and this advertisement shall not in any way commit LBII to proceed with the purchase should funds not be made available.
