This interim procurement will be in effect only until mandatory Prime Vendor Medical Surgical contract is implemented through the National Acquisition Center. Among other things, the contractor must be responsible for managing a broad supply of medical and surgical products, be EDI capable, process improvements, 97% fill rate, provide just in time delivery and develop several reports. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Issue date shall be on or about December 24, 1997 and close on or about January 12, 1998. Note 22 applies.
