BLOOD DONOR CENTER, LACKLAND AIR FORCE BASE, TX -- Construct a 2,000 square meter blood donor medical facility. The building features a reinforced concrete slab and foundation, brick facing with metal stud supports, structural steel frame, standing seam metal roof and fire protection system. All necessary supporting utilities shall be provided including water, sewer, storm drainage, electricity, and communications. Supporting facilities include parking, driveways, walks, and landscaping. The plans and specifications have been placed on Compact Disk (CD ROM) and will be provided free of charge. Plans and Specifications will not be provided in a printed paper hard copy format. Notification of amendments shall be made through either 3.5" floppy disk, CD ROM, and or the Internet. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of CD ROM and the Internet. However, the Government reserves the right to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation. It is therefore the contractors responsibility to check the following address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation.
