99 -- COMPUTER PROGRAM MODIFICATION SOL N00167-98-Q-0092 DUE 010298 POC Ray Park, Contracting Officer, 301-227-1121, FAX 301-227-1847 The Carderock Division Naval Surface Warfare Center intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with SAIC to modify their LAMP-4 computer program. SAIC will calculate the magnitudes and spatial distribution of the impact forces in the time domain, determine the resulting ship motions, calculate the dynamic whipping bending moments in the lateral plane along the length of the ship, and incorporate the formulations in the computer code, LAMP-4. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements under the authority of FAR 6.302.1. Anticipated award is on or about 1/5/98.
