The work includes providing all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, incidental engineering and transportation necessary to pressure inject joints and cracks to stop leaks in specific areas of the concrete walls, floors, and ceilings of drydocks, pumpwells, and tunnel areas using an approved hydrophobic polyurethane hydrogel type material. The work also includes complete concrete spelling repairs at the same areas as listed above using an approved polymer-modified portland cement mortar at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia. All work to be accomplished by means of a requirements type contract. The contract terms shall be for a period of one year. The Government shall have the option to extend the term of the contract for additional periods of one to twelve months. The total contract term, including exercise of any options, shall not exceed 36 months. Plans and specifications will be made available on or about 22 January 1998.
