Construction consists of 18,000 feet earthen levee sheetpile wall,
lighting along portions of the levee, storage buildings, and
landscaping. Project will include Goverment furnished material. SIC
code for this project is 1629. This project contains an optional item
for Woodward Access Road Paving. Full size plans and specs (90) $92.75
p/set; half size plans and specs (90) $68.50 p/set. Non-Refundable.

cash accepted). Contractors are encouraged to provide their Federal

Issuance o/a 18 Dec 97. Subcontracting Plan Requirements: If the
successful low offeror is a large business concern, a subcontracting
plan shall be required, consistent with Section 806(b) of PL's 100-180,
95-507, and 99-661. A minimum of 65% of the total planned
subcontracting dollars shall be placed with small business concerns. At
least 15% of planned subcontracting dollars shall be placed with small
disadvantaged businesses to include Historically Black Colleges and
Universities or Minority Institutions (HBCU/MI's), and at least 5% of
the total planned subcontracting dollars shall be placed with
Women-Owned Businesses (WOB). A plan is NOT required with the bid. All
responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the
agency. In order to comply with Debt Collection Improvement Act of
1996, effective March 1, 1998, all contractors must be registered in
the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for award of
