Minimum salient performance characteristics: capable of collecting 2 channels, in all combinations, of the following data types: 1) PCM data: Signal type NRZ-Level, Data rates Up to 8.0 Mbits/s per channel (minimum), Signal levels RS-422 or TTL (differential or single ended), Clock format Synchronous with data falling edge mid bit cell, Clock signal level RS-422 or TTL (differential or single ended), Clock rate Continuous. 2) Mil-Std-1553 data: Signal type Bi Phase-Level, Data rate: 1.0 Mbits/s per channel (minimum), Data format: per Mil-Std-1553B (monitor only), Line interface configuration: Transformer Coupled per Mil-Std-1553B. The boards physically and electrically interface within (internally) a Datatape MARS II Recorder/Reproducer System. The required delivery schedule is 30 days after receipt of order. The proposed contract action is for supplies forwhich the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source (Datatape Inc, phone (818) 358-9500) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon resonses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
