S -- - NOTICE OF INTENT TO NEGOTIATE A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT FOR THE HAWAII SANCTUARY. Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract for the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale Natl Marine Snctuary (Hawaii Sanctuary). Purpose of contract is to provide liaison services for a one-year period. Place of performance is Honolulu, HI. Contractor will explain the Hawaii Sanctuary program to various Federal, State, and local representatives on island of Oahu, setup meetings for the Sanctuary liaison/manager, develop educational materials for the Sanctuary program, and perform other related logistical tasks. Only one source known which has completed previous contracts. It is not anticipated that any other source will be capable of performing the proposed contract. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000.
