commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart
12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this
notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals
are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number 92028-001 is issued as a request for quotation
(RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and
clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-02.
This is not a small business set-aside. The solicitation line item is
as follows: Item 1. Oil Filled Capacitor 0.047MFD/35KV, Marconi part
number CC-162976-01, 20 EA. The specific IBB requirement is for oil
filled capacitors in support of Marconi transmitters at the IBB radio
relay station located in Thailand. F.O.B. Point: Destination -- Inside
Delivery. Address: International Broadcasting Bureau, CSF, Room G-312,
330 C. St., SW, Washington, DC 20547. Delivery Required: within 20
weeks after contract award. Inspection and acceptance will be at
destination. The following FAR clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR
