70 -- REPLACEMENT OF COMPUTER ASSOCIATES MAINFRAME BASED SOFTWARE PRODUCTS SOL CS-97-101 POC Mark Weinstein, 202-927-0567 The U.S. Customs Service requests potential sources for the replacement of the following Computer Associates mainframe based software products which support the day-to-day operations of the U.S. Customs Service Data Center located in Newington, Va. These products are required in support of Customs mission critical and non-mission critical computer applications which execute 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The offeror shall provide software products which are direct replacements for the following Computer Associates products: CA-Auto Operations, CA-1, CA-7, CA-11, CA-Dispatch, CA-APCDOC, CA-Easytrieve, CA-Endevor, CA-Examine, CA-Intertest, CA-JCLCHECK, CA-Librarian, CA-Multi-Image Manager, CA-NETMAN and related components, CA-9R+, CA-OptimizerII, CA-Prevail Automation Point, CA-Panaudit, CA-Phoenix, CA-ROSCOE, CA- Top Secret, and CA-TPX. The offeror should provide as part of its submission descriptive technical literature, a brief technical proposal describing the service, past performance information, commercial pricelists,pricing information, etc. which would indicate that your firm meets the Government requirement. This announcement is not a formal solicitation.
