The work consists of providing the labor, equipment and materials to modify HVAC system in the Mobile Launcher Platforms(MLP) at LC-39. AMENDMENT 12/8/97: THE BASIC EFFORT WILL CONSIST OF MODIFYING TWO MLP'S CONSISTING OF MLP-1 AND MLP-2. THE EFFORT TO MODIFY MLP-3 WILL BE A FIXED PRICE OPTION. The order of magnitude for the procurement is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. AMENDMENT 12/8/97: THE BASIC EFFORT SHALL BE COMPLETED WITHIN 545 CALENDAR DAYS AFTER NOTICE TO PROCEED. THE OPTIONAL EFFORT SHALL BE COMPLETED WITHIN 365 DAYS FROM RECEIPT OF NOTICE THAT THE MLP-3 OPTION IS EXERCISED. The SIC Code and small business size standard for this procurement are 1711 and $7.0 million, respectively. THE ANTICIPATED RELEASE DATE FOR THE IFB/RFO IS ON OR ABOUT 12/18/97 WITH AN ANTICIPATED OFFER CLOSING DATE OF ON OR ABOUT 1/23/98.
