DELIVERY/INDEFINITE QUANTITY MULTI TRADES CONSTRUCTION, Award of a
competitively bid, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity construction
contract is being considered for miscellaneous general construction
projects located at various U.S. Coast Guard units and stations located
in Oregon State. The term of the contract will be for a 12 month
period. The minimum guaranteed amount of work is $100,000.00 per
calendar year. The maximum amount of work could reach $1,000,000.00
maximum per calendar year. This indefinite quantity contract is for
miscellaneous minor construction, alterations, maintenance, repair and
other incidental related general construction type work. The work
involves various construction trades to perform work, including but is
not limited to site work, concrete, masonry, metal, wood, doors and
windows, finishes, thermal and moisture protection, mechanical,
electrical, roofing and special construction. The contractor shall
provide all labor, material, equipment, supervision, transportation and
all other incidental items to meet the requirements of delivery orders
issued by the Contracting Officer. Drawings and Specifications will be
issued for each specific project. This is an unrestricted acquisition
being solicited and awarded under the small business competitiveness
demonstration program; all responsible sources are encouraged to

The Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantage
Business Utilization has programs to assist minority, women-owned, and
disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working
capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts.
Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at
prime interest rates up to $500,000 per contract to provide accounts
receivable financing. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms
to apply for bid, performance, and payment bonds up to $500,000 per
contract. DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to surety
