H -- QUALITY CONTROL FOR X-RAY AND LINEAR ACCELERATOR UNITS SOL RFP 527-13-98 DUE 010698 POC Mrs. Jo Ann Petrillo, Contract Specialist, FAX (718)630-2969/3558 The Veterans Administration requires the services of American Board of Radiology (ABR) certified or American Board of Medical Physics (ABMP) certified physicist to perform annual Quality Control of (36) X-Ray units and (2) Linear Accelerators located at the Brooklyn VA Medical Center and the ST. Albans Extended Care Center both in New York. The services include detailed inspection of each piece of equipment in accordance with the solicitation requirements and preparation of a written report upon completion. Contractor shall be knowledgeable of Joint Commission for Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO) requirements; New York State and New York City requirements and FDA standards. Services shall be required starting February 1998. This solicitation is open to both large and small business participation. The applicable SICC is 8999.
