The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) published a Request for Information (RFI) in the Commerce Business Daily regarding "DISN Transmission Services -- Europe" on 17 November 1997. In response to several requests from the telecommunications industry, the due date for submittal of responses is hereby changed from 15 December 1997 to 15 January 1998. DISA will begin, on or about 8 December 1997, posting an additional document to the DISN Transmission Services -- Europe acquisition web page (http://www.disa.mil/DISN/disnhome.html) entitled "Questions and Answers." The document will contain many, but not necessarily all, of the questions posed by industry and the Government's response. The number of questions and answers will increase over time.
