experienced company to perform preventative and remedial maintenance
on three DocuMate IV high speed microfilm cameras, and accompanying
hardware. The three cameras are used to film seven million passport
applications every year. They scan the nine-digit bar code, endorse the
passport application and any additional pages with an eight digit
microfilm cartridge address number, film the records, and record the
passport number and the endorsement information using an attached
personal computer. The maintenance requirements are as follows: 1]
Complete remedial maintenance of the three TDC DocuMate IV cameras,
camera personal computers, bar code scanners, light boxes, endorsement
devices, and any other components, and software currently used to run
the cameras. 2] A 24 hours or less response time. 3] Readily available
parts to service the equipment. 4] Adjustments to the software program
as needed. 5] Regularly scheduled preventative maintenance.
