commercial item acquisition utilizing Simplified Acquisition
Procedures. This announcement is notification of the solicitation. A
written Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued. Required services
consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, material and transportation
to perform preventive maintenance and repair services for the EMCS at
Scott AFB IL. The system consists of the Johnson Controls 85/40
computer system using DSC-500 field panels and related field equipment,
the Johnson Controls Metasys system, the American Auto-Matrix using a
SAGE field panel and related field equipment and other as specified in
the Statement of Work. Portions of the system are located in 16
buildings at Scott AFB IL. Principal items of work include preventive
maintenance, normal service calls and emergency service calls for the
period of 1 Mar 98 thru 30 Sep 98 with two full-year options. Option
year one runs from 01 Oct 98 thru 30 Sep 99. Option year two runs from
01 Oct 99 thru 30 Sep 99. Option year two runs from 01 Oct 99 thru 30
Sep 2000. Anticipated award date is 13 Feb 98. This solicitation is
