Branstiter (301) 227-5782 The purpose of the proposed acquisition is for the provision of engineering and technical services in connection with the repair, testing, inspection, and replacement of High Gain Array (HGA) Staves, which are a component of the Acoustic Measurment Facilities Improvement Program (AMFIP). The proposed Indefinite Delivery/Indefinte Quantity, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee, Completion type contract will have a period of performance of five years. The proposed contractor is Sparton Electronics Florida, Inc., P.O. Box 788, DeLeon Springs, FL. Sparton is the original manufacturer of the array staves. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about 18 December 1997, with receipt of proposals due 30 days thereafter. See Note 22. (0337)
