J -- SECURE VIDEO TELECONFERENCING SYSTEM (SVTS) ENGINEERING SUPPORT AND MAINTENANCE SOL DCA100-98-R-0001 DUE 013097 POC Contact DITCO-NCR@ncr.disa.mil J -- The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) intends to procure corrective, preventive and on-call maintenance for the Secure Video-Teleconferencing System (SVTS) 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, for all SVTS hardware and software. This requirement also includes providing hardware/software systems engineering and integration for changes to the SVTS. The period of performance will be one year beginning 1 Oct 1998, with four each-one year option periods. TOP SECRET/SCI clearance is required prior to award. A local reading room has been established for the purpose of making available for review by the prospective offerors such data as deemed appropriate by the Government. A SECRET clearance is required for access to the reading room. All prospective offerors who request access are responsible for certifying the "need-to-know" for the individuals designated to read the classified data and shall incorporate this requirement into their request for access. All interested parties must contact DITCO-NCR as directed below, not later than 15 December 1997 with company name, address, and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code. It is noted that all security clearances will be reviewed prior to approval. All interim clearances are prepared by another government agency, and the process for granting interim clearances may take a longer period of time than this solicitation will be open for proposals. If such is the case, the solicitation may be closed without un-cleared prospective offerors having access to the reading room materials. For background informational purposes it is also noted that this network was developed in 1985 with initial award to Harris Corporation, who is the current incumbent. Source selection will be made on a best-value basis.
