Miller, Contracting Officer, (703) 810-4797 The On-Site Inspection Agency (OSIA) requires Microsoft Premier Support services to support the software resident on the OSIA Local Area Network, which is the Microsoft WindowsNT platform. This is a notification of intent to place an order with Microsoft Corporation, Premier Sales, Charlotte, NC. The Microsoft Premier Support shall consist of Technical Support, Technical Account Management and Technical Services. The Microsoft Premier Technical Support shall consist of technical problem resolution services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from Microsoft for all supported Microsoft products, plus a limited set of pre-release products. The Microsoft Premier Technical Account Management shall consist of personal account management to ensure Premier Support meets the unique needs of the OSIA to include a Technical Account Manager leading a Microsoft support team. The Microsoft Premier Technical Services shall consist of proactive information and planning services for Microsoft products. Vendors qualified to provide the subject services under terms and conditions more advantageous to the Government should submit technical evidence of their capability to the above address no later than 16 Dec 1997. All responses will be fully considered by the OSIA. Evidence submitted should clearly demonstrate the vendors ability to provide the requisite services and the price for doing so. No solicitation document exists and requests for such will not be considered. Telephone responses are not acceptable. Facsimile responses are acceptable and should be directed to the Contracting Officer at (703) 810-4675. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued, but no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent and demonstrate their technical capability to provide the requisite services.
