Z -- REPAIRS TO HANGAR A-131, NAVAL AIR STATION, KEY WEST, FL SOL N62467-95-B-2770 DUE 020398 POC OICC Office (305) 293-3630, SUSAN PALMER, CONTRACT SPECIALIST Work includes the demolition of an existing two story wood lean-to structure which is attached to a three story steel frame hangar which is to remain. The construction consists of replacing the lean-to with a cold-form light gage steel framing system, stucco over metal lath on exterior grade plywood, and interior finishes (resilient tile, ceramic tile, acoustical tile, and painted gypsum wallboard), steel doors and frames, aluminum windows, new electrical-mechanical-air conditioning systems, and all incidental related work. The existing hangar roofing edge shall be repaired as required due to demolition work. Existing hangar doors are specified for repairs. This work will require abatement/removal of asbestos and/or lead containing materials. This work must be accomplished in accordance with the contract specifications and all applicable Government regulations and laws. The estimated Contract Cost range is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00 and time for contract completion is 360 days.
